World Consumer Rights Day

Greetings, being in the middle of the bargain between manufacturers and consumers I notice Pakistan lacks most of the consumer rights. Here not only the recipes but the ingredients too are "top secret". Recently when asked a local bakery, which displayed list of gluten free items available on order, the answer was its confidential to tell the customers/consumers about the ingredients. We as consumers have never thought of asking about our part of right and information for the product we are paying. Even if there are no defined food and drug laws about labeling and no one seems to be socially responsible to answer any rightful question, we remain silent.
For all those gluten free manufacturers who are joining the league of making secret products should mark this day as the new start. Start to be responsible enough to label and answer about the ingredients even if your recipe is really a secret. For manufacturers sure about the use of naturally gluten free ingredients do read the previous post on Pre-purchase contamination and learn more about it than written here.
We all coeliacs will be grateful of you being courageous enough to break the ice.

Hi,
I was very amazed to see your blog about celiacs :)
I write a blog but I am in Canada where there are a log of resources for people who can't have gluten.

Here are some of my thoughts and food that I like to make at home that ate gluten free.
